Privacy policy
FlatMinima Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in relation to the stretching service (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) provided through this website.
Article 1 (Personal Information)
“Personal Information” refers to “personal information” as defined by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, and includes information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other descriptions. It also includes data such as facial images, fingerprints, voiceprints, and health insurance numbers that can identify a specific individual by themselves.
Additionally, personal information includes physical condition–related data collected for the purpose of providing the Service, such as flexibility, body composition, health status, medical history, posture images, and range of motion (hereinafter referred to as “Body Information”).
Article 2 (Method of Collecting Personal Information)
The Company may collect personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, and credit card number when the user registers for the Service. We may also collect information including transaction and payment records from our affiliated parties (e.g., information providers, advertisers, and advertising platforms).
In addition, the Company may obtain Body Information such as posture, range of motion, and health condition through interviews, assessments, or physical evaluations conducted before and after stretching sessions. This information will only be used to provide and improve the Service.
Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:
- To provide and operate the Service
- To respond to user inquiries (including identity verification)
- To send information about updates, new features, campaigns, and other services offered by the Company
- To contact users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.
- To identify users who violate the Terms of Use or attempt to use the Service for fraudulent or inappropriate purposes
- To allow users to view, modify, or delete their registration information and usage history
- To charge users for paid services
- For purposes incidental to the above
In addition, personal and Body Information may be used to tailor stretch programs, offer ongoing conditioning recommendations, manage session history, and support the user’s well-being.
Article 4 (Changes in Purpose of Use)
The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably related to the original purpose. If the purpose is changed, the Company will notify users or publish the changes through this website.
Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent of the user, except where permitted by law, such as:
- When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and obtaining consent is difficult
- When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting sound development of children, and obtaining consent is difficult
- When cooperation is necessary for a national or local government agency to perform its legal duties, and obtaining consent may interfere with those duties
- When the following has been notified or made public in advance, and the Company has submitted notice to the Personal Information Protection Commission:
- That third-party provision is included in the purpose of use
- The data items provided to third parties
- The method of provision
- That provision will be stopped upon request of the data subject
- The method for requesting a stop to third-party provision
Notwithstanding the above, the following do not constitute provision to third parties:
- When the Company outsources handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided in connection with succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
- When personal information is used jointly with specific parties and the user is notified in advance or the information is easily accessible
In addition, to ensure proper execution of the Service, the Company may share necessary information with third parties such as contracted stretch practitioners and reservation/payment system providers. In such cases, the Company will ensure that proper agreements are in place to protect the information.
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
Upon request by the user, the Company shall disclose their personal information without delay. However, if any of the following apply, the Company may withhold all or part of the information:
- If disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
- If disclosure may seriously interfere with the Company’s business operations
- If disclosure would violate laws or regulations
Please note that a handling fee of ¥10,000 per request will apply. Information other than personal information, such as behavioral or statistical data, will not generally be disclosed.
Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
If a user finds that their personal information held by the Company is incorrect, they may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “Correction, etc.”) through the procedure specified by the Company.
If the Company determines that the request is valid, the Company shall make the necessary corrections without delay and notify the user.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
If a user requests suspension or deletion of their personal information on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of its intended use or obtained by unlawful means, the Company will investigate the matter without delay.
If it determines that the request is valid, the Company will promptly take appropriate action and notify the user.
However, if suspension would incur significant cost or is otherwise difficult, the Company may take alternative actions necessary to protect the user’s rights and interests.
Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
The contents of this Policy may be changed without notice to users, except as otherwise provided by law or this Policy.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Policy shall take effect upon being posted on this website.

Article 11 (Special Notes Regarding Health and Body Information)
Health and Body Information collected by the Company will be used solely for the purpose of providing safe and appropriate stretch services. This information is obtained and managed with the user’s clear consent, and is used for wellness and conditioning support, not for medical diagnosis or treatment.
